Exam IQ is operated by Exam IQ (ABN 74 881 878 099), based in Queensland, Australia, and built for students across the country.

You need to be at least 13 to sign up. Students under 18 are welcome and by creating an account you're confirming you're either 13 or older, or that a parent or guardian is okay with you using the platform. If you're a parent reading this on behalf of a younger student, this is the right place to start.

Your account is yours to look after. That means keeping your password private, using accurate details when you sign up, and not sharing access with other people. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility.

Exam IQ is for studying. Please use it that way.

You can't upload content you don't have the right to share, try to copy or reverse-engineer any part of the platform, use bots or automated tools to access it, attempt to get into someone else's account, or upload anything harmful or illegal.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.

Exam IQ includes a number of AI powered tools designed to support your study. Here's what each one does and what to keep in mind when you use it.

Exam Mode is a timed practice environment that simulates a real exam using uploaded past papers and AI generated questions. You complete the paper under timed conditions and get a detailed feedback report covering strengths, weaknesses, time usage, and areas to improve. From there you can click through to practice your weak areas, and the platform will generate a new targeted practice exam until you've reached proficiency. Results are for study guidance only and aren't official exam results.

Assignment Grader lets you paste your rubric and upload your assignment to get comprehensive mark-by-mark, section-by-section feedback along with an expected result. This is indicative feedback only, not an official mark, and Exam IQ isn't responsible for any academic consequences that come from using it.

Assignment Structure Guides walk you through what to include and how each section of an assessment is marked, with expandable cards for each section and access to exemplars through the AI chat.

The ATAR Calculator provides indicative ATAR estimates only. Results are not endorsed by any state curriculum authority and should not be relied on as official predictions.

Pathways lets you explore careers and university courses you're interested in. You select a career or pathway, see an estimated salary range, and browse specific courses with filters for university, required ATAR, and state. Once you save a course, the platform shows the subjects required and the ATAR needed to get in, then breaks it down into actionable grade targets across the subjects that matter for that path, so you can view those targets alongside your current performance at a glance. Information about entry requirements, ATARs, and salaries is indicative only and sourced from available data, so you should verify current requirements directly with the relevant university or institution before making any decisions.

The Academic Chatbot is an AI powered chatbot you can use to ask questions, get topics explained, and get general study support. Responses are AI generated and may be incomplete or incorrect, so you're responsible for verifying anything it tells you.

The Question Bank is a bank of curriculum aligned practice questions you can filter by subject, topic, question type, and subtopic. Questions are AI generated and designed for study preparation, not as official assessment material.

Source Finder helps you find relevant academic sources for research assessments based on the topic you give it. Exam IQ doesn't guarantee the accuracy, availability, or credibility of any sources it returns, so you should verify all sources yourself.

Reference Manager takes a URL you paste in and formats the citation in your chosen referencing convention. Exam IQ doesn't guarantee citation accuracy, so check your references before you submit any work.

More broadly, every AI generated output across the platform, whether it's a feedback report, mark, estimate, or answer, is produced automatically and may contain errors. These outputs are intended for study guidance only and aren't a substitute for official results, teacher feedback, or academic advice.

Exam IQ is available to students across all Australian states and territories, and the platform is designed to support students studying under VCE, HSC, WACE, QCE, SACE, and TCE curricula.

That said, certain tools, including the question bank and ATAR calculator, may be configured around specific state curricula and may not fully reflect the requirements, scoring systems, or syllabus of every state. Where we refer to nationwide availability or full curriculum coverage in our marketing, that reflects the platform's broad intent and ongoing development, not a guarantee that every tool is complete or accurate for every state at all times.

It's on you to check that any tool, question, estimate, or piece of feedback you receive is relevant and accurate for your specific state, curriculum, and school requirements.

Exam IQ accepts no liability for academic outcomes arising from the use of tools that may not be fully aligned to your state curriculum.

Exam IQ has three plans.

Free gives you access to a limited set of features at no cost. Pro costs $15 per month. Premium costs $30 per month.

Paid plans renew monthly. When you subscribe you're authorising us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Pro and Premium are also available as annual subscriptions. Pro annual is displayed as $12.50 per month but is billed as a single upfront payment of $150 for the full year. Premium annual is displayed as $25.00 per month but is billed as a single upfront payment of $300 for the full year. Annual pricing is in Australian dollars and includes GST.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If Exam IQ fails to meet a consumer guarantee — for example, if a paid feature doesn't work as described — you may still be entitled to a remedy regardless of our no-refund policy on annual plans.

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started, and your access continues for the full year regardless of whether you keep using the platform.

You can cancel any time through your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't refund partial months.

If a payment fails, your account may drop to the free plan until it's sorted out.

We'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days notice before changing prices.

Pro and Premium subscribers can take part in our referral program. Once you're on one of these plans you'll get a unique referral code to share, and successfully referring others can earn you a free subscription.

The reward kicks in once 5 people sign up for a Pro or Premium plan using your referral code. From there, your subscription is free for as long as all 5 of those referrals stay on a paid plan.

If a referred user cancels, downgrades to the free plan, or deletes their account, your active referral count drops. Should it fall below 5, the free subscription is revoked immediately and normal billing resumes at your current plan rate. If your referral count reaches 5 again through new referrals, the reward is reinstated.

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or end the referral program at any time, and we'll give reasonable notice before we do.

Referral codes are non-transferable and are meant for genuine new signups only. Any attempt to abuse the program, including through fake accounts, may result in account suspension.

Referral codes are only available to Pro and Premium subscribers. Free plan users need to upgrade before they can take part. The referral program is only available to monthly Pro and Premium subscribers — users on annual plans are not eligible to earn or redeem the free subscription reward.

Everything on the platform — the software, design, question bank, structure guides, AI systems — is owned by or licensed to Exam IQ. You can't reproduce or copy any of it without written permission from us.

Anything you upload, like an assignment, stays yours. By uploading it you're giving us permission to process it to deliver the service, nothing more.

We use outside providers for things like payments and AI processing. Their own terms may apply to those interactions. We're not responsible for how third parties operate.

The platform is available as-is. We don't make promises about uptime, accuracy, or whether it'll work perfectly for your specific situation. We'll do our best, but we can't guarantee everything.

To the extent allowed by Australian law, Exam IQ isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the platform, including academic outcomes, data loss, or downtime. Nothing here removes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

We update these occasionally. When something significant changes we'll let you know by email or through the app. Continuing to use Exam IQ after an update means you're okay with the new terms.

Queensland law applies. Any disputes go to Queensland courts.
